    Survai ("the App", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Barış Tonbul ("Developer", operating under the Mekanware brand). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, we may automatically collect the following information:

1.2 Location Data

The App requests access to your device's precise location (GPS) for the following purposes:

Displaying your position on the map
Calculating distances to map pins
Enabling location-based survival features

Important: Location data is primarily processed on your device. We do not continuously track or store your real-time location on our servers. Location coordinates are only transmitted to our servers when associated with map pins you voluntarily create.

1.3 Bluetooth and Mesh Networking Data

The App uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for peer-to-peer mesh networking. When this feature is active, the following data may be exchanged between nearby devices:

Mesh device identifiers (anonymous peer IDs)
Signal strength data (RSSI)
Map pins and associated notes shared via mesh protocol
Synchronization metadata (timestamps, manifests)

Important: Mesh data is exchanged directly between devices without passing through our servers. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the data exchanged via mesh networking between devices.

1.4 User-Generated Content

You may create the following content within the App:

Map Pins: Location markers with category, coordinates, and optional text notes
AI Chat Messages: Text queries submitted to the on-device AI assistant

1.5 AI and Machine Learning Data

The App includes an on-device AI assistant powered by locally downloaded language models (such as Qwen, Phi, and Mistral). Your AI conversations are processed entirely on your device. We do not transmit, collect, store, or have access to your AI chat content. The AI models are downloaded from third-party sources (Hugging Face) and run locally on your device.

1.6 Subscription and Purchase Data

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat. We do not directly collect or store your payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses). Purchase transaction data is managed by these third-party payment processors.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Providing, operating, and maintaining the App's functionality
Managing your device registration and authentication
Delivering push notifications (with your consent)
Processing and managing subscriptions via third-party payment processors
Improving, personalizing, and expanding the App
Understanding how users interact with the App
Detecting, preventing, and addressing technical issues
Complying with legal obligations

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Local Storage

The majority of your data is stored locally on your device, including:

Device ID and authentication tokens (AsyncStorage)
Map pins and notes (local SQLite database)
AI models and chat history (device file system)
Downloaded offline maps (device file system)

3.2 Server Storage

Limited data is stored on our servers:

Device registration information (device ID, platform, app version, push token)
User account data (if registered)

3.3 Security Measures

We implement commercially reasonable security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) and secure token-based authentication. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You acknowledge that you provide your information at your own risk.

4. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

With your consent: When you explicitly agree to share information
Service providers: Third-party services listed in Section 4, solely to provide App functionality
Legal requirements: When required by law, legal process, or governmental request
Protection of rights: To protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property, and that of our users or the public
Business transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Mesh networking: Map pins and notes you create may be shared with nearby devices via Bluetooth mesh networking. This sharing is inherent to the App's functionality and occurs directly between devices.

6. Data Retention

Local data: Retained on your device until you delete it, uninstall the App, or use the in-app data clearing function
Server data: Retained as long as your device is registered with our service. You may request deletion by logging out or contacting us
Mesh-shared data: Once data is shared via mesh networking to other devices, we cannot control or delete it from those devices

7. Your Rights and Choices

7.1 Access and Deletion

You may:

Delete your map pins and local data through the App
Log out to remove your authentication data
Use the App's data clearing function to erase all locally stored data
Request deletion of your server-side data by contacting us

7.2 Permissions

You may revoke the following permissions at any time through your device settings:

Location access
Bluetooth access
Push notification permissions

Note: Revoking certain permissions may limit or disable App functionality.

7.3 European Users (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights including the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, where data protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. We will take reasonable measures to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy within the App or on our website.
